Some upcoming summer time 2009 races

- Saturday, July 4, 2009 - 28th Annual Rock Hall Flat Five in Kent
County, Maryland (5 miles) - 8 A.M. at the Rock Hall Town Office. Race
starts at the Town Office and finishes in the center of town by Durding's and
Java Rock Cafe.  The race is very flat (yet also it usually tends to be very hot).
The shaded race is well supported.  The course is pretty much a loop around
a good portion of the downtown and suburban areas of Rock Hall, going
by the water and Gratitude Marina.  A large portion of it is run on
the flat Route 20 in the third and fourth miles.  It's a pretty fun
and family-friendly event before the Rock Hall parade and other
Fourth of July festivities get under way.
